Your AI forgets you every time. Give it a log.

Every new chat is a new employee. Here's how to make sure the next one knows what the last one did.

Here's something most people don't know about AI. When you start a new chat, you're talking to a brand-new entity. It has never met you. It doesn't remember yesterday.

So why does it feel like the same one? Because every time you hit send, the app quietly sends the whole conversation back to the model. It reads the entire thing from the top, every single time, and answers like it was there all along. That's called the context window. It's the only memory it has. Close the chat, and it's gone.

You're making it work too hard

Every time you re-explain your business, paste the same background, or say "like I told you last time," you're onboarding a new hire who's going to forget you by lunch. And everything useful it figured out in that chat dies with it.

The fix is boring. Give it a place to write things down.

A log

That's it. A date and a line: what the AI did, what it found. Every time it finishes something, it adds one line. It never goes back and rewrites the old ones.

I built mine into custom software. I have a Mac app running on my Mac Mini that syncs with an app on my phone, and the AIs write their logs right inside it. But you don't need any of that. A plain markdown file does the exact same job. Just a text document with dates and notes.

Let it keep the garden

Here's the part people miss. AI is really good at reading markdown documents, linking them together like a wiki, and keeping them up to date. Pruning them like a garden. Tell it to do that, and now your Claude can go read everything every other AI has done. It's all just files on your computer.

So the next "new person" who walks in doesn't start from zero. They read the log, they read the notes, and they pick up where the last one left off.

Rules for how to write things down. A log of what happened. A scratch note for where things stand right now. That's the whole system. A memory feature is a sticky note. This is a filing cabinet.

The offer

Your Claude knows how. It doesn’t know you.

One two-hour session, and the folder your AI reads once and gets to work from. $250 for the first five founding clients, $350 after.
