Record every call. It's the best context you'll ever give AI.

The single most underused thing in AI is context. And the best context you have is sitting in your meetings.

Every Zoom call. Every strategy session. Every phone call, if you can legally record it. All of it is your business explaining itself out loud, in your own words, with your own examples. That's exactly what your AI is missing.

Why it's so good

When you write a brief, you leave things out. You forget the thing you said at minute twelve that actually mattered. A recording doesn't forget. It has the offhand comment, the "no, not like that, more like this," the reason behind the decision.

And Claude can use all of it. The transcript, the video, screenshots of what was shown on screen, and any documents anyone sent over.

What to do with it

Anything you can record or collect on a project, put it in a folder. Recordings, transcripts, documents, screenshots, emails. Then have your AI sort it, understand it, and organize it.

That's the beauty of Cowork. You hand it a messy folder and it makes sense of it. And once you understand how Cowork works, you can build your own version of it, or do something totally different, with Claude Code. It's the same trick.

The habit

Next time you're about to start a project, ask yourself what I'd want to know if I were joining this cold. Then go find those answers: the call where you explained it, the document that describes it, the screen where it was shown.

Record it. Drop it in the folder. Let your AI read it before it does a single thing.

The more context it has, the better it helps you. That has held true for every single thing I've built.
